Kittens Game is a web incremental game by bloodrizer, released in 20141, in which a village of kittens gathers catnip and wood and grows into a civilization. The atlas reads its source on GitHub at v1.6.1.6.

#Prices

Every building price scales exponentially, val⋅ratiobuilt, with no rounding2. Unlike Cookie Clicker’s one constant, each building carries its own ratio: Each building carries its own priceRatio: 1.12 for the Catnip Field, 2.5 for the Hut, 1.75 for the Barn, and 1.15 for the Mine.3. The first ones cost The first Catnip Field costs 10 catnip, the first Hut 5 wood, the first Barn 50 wood, and the first Mine 100 wood.4.

Upgrades lower a ratio toward 1. The first 75% of the gap counts in full; past that, each reduction adds less, so the ratio never reaches 15. The Hut starts at 2.5, and its four workshop upgrades bring it to 1.3516 × per Hut, with all four6.

#Resets

A reset with more than 70 kittens pays one paragon per kitten past 70, and past 35 kittens it also adds karma kittens on a rising scale7. Karma grows as the inverse of a triangular number, so each point costs 5 kittens more than the last8. Paragon buys perks, and five of them lower every building’s ratio: Five metaphysics perks bought with paragon, the reset currency, lower every building's ratio by 0.0865 in sum: 0.01, (1+5)/200, 16/900, 0.02, and 0.0225. With all five, the Catnip Field's 1.12 becomes 1.0335.9. The prestige reset thus flattens the price curves of the next run.
