IGN's review of 24 November 2011, by Anthony Gallegos, scored it 9 ("amazing") with an Editors' Choice, saying no other game had unleashed his creativity like Minecraft. Crafting became a proper feature in Indev on 29 January 2010, with recipes for sticks, pickaxes, torches, swords, and axes, and the same day's later build added the inventory's 2×2 grid and the workbench for the 3×3 grid. Shapeless recipes came in Beta 1.2, and 1.12 added a recipe tab that shows how to craft items crafted before. IGN's 2011 review said Minecraft had no documentation at all.review bodyWiki
