The Transport Tycoon Deluxe manual describes only signals that protect the section ahead and single-direction ones. The manual of TTDPatch, a patch to the game, presents the pre-signal as a new type of signal its switches introduce, and calls the game's own signals "block signals".	`4.2 Pre-signals (detailed)`	Manual
