- Notes
- A fork of Disch's FinalFantasyDisassembly (see disch-ff1-disassembly) that renames labels in several bank files and 0B_8000_unknown.bin to 0B_8000_battledomains.bin. Both forks build the same ROM. Built 2026-10-28 from git archives with ca65 and ld65 from cc65 V2.13.3 (the shipped 2010-era .exe tools do not run here). Current ca65 rejects twelve operands of the form #~CONST or a negative .BYTE (in banks 0C, 0D, 0E and 0F), and 2.13.3 rejects them too, so each was wrapped in the low-byte operator (#<(~X), <(-n)) in our private copy only. With that, the assembled banks equal Final Fantasy (USA).nes after the iNES header. The nine .dat banks and bin/*.bin tables are bytes of the game, shipped in the repo.
