- Licence
- The archive grants no licence. The atlas keeps the copy in its cache to play it and publishes none of it.
- Credit
- Dope Wars by the Happy Hacker Foundation, per its opening screen. The copy is from Jason Scott's BBS Documentary library (“Dopewars for DOS (Remake of original DOS Program by Happy Hacker Foundation)”). emu2 is by Daniel Serpell.
- Notes
- The atlas's own reading of the game's opening screen, made by probes/trading/dope-wars-hhf.mjs. The same executable, byte for byte, ships as reference/DOPEWARS.EXE in the source of Matthew Lee's 1999-2000 PalmOS port (dopewars-source.zip in the same library), whose readme calls it “the original DOS version”. The zip matches the Wayback Machine's 2011 capture. Local copy: .cache/files/dope-wars-hhf-dos/dopewarsd.zip.
