Credit: SpaceToad's post handing BuildCraft to Krapht and SirSengir, 2 March 2012.
Notes: His own retrospective on the project's first nine months and its community-driven, open-source design. Also names Krapht (Logistics Pipes) and SirSengir (Forestry) as the successors. A current-site copy exists, but the 2015 capture is the 2012 post as published.

On 2 March 2012 SpaceToad handed BuildCraft to Krapht and SirSengir, makers of the Logistic Pipes and Forestry mods, saying he could no longer give the 15 or more hours a week he had put in over the project's first nine months. He wrote that the project had been designed from the start to be community-driven, which was a main reason it had been open source.	`"Handing over BuildCraft development", 2 March 2012"Handing over BuildCraft development", 2 March 2012"Handing over BuildCraft development", 2 March 2012`	Dev blog
