Teleport entry
The player arrives in or leaves a level by a teleport animation, with its own states before control starts or after it ends.
A teleport entry brings the player into a stage, or back after a death, as a beam or streak that lands and takes shape before the player can move. A matching exit beams the player out when a stage is cleared. The code usually treats each step, falling, landing and forming, as its own player state.
